This year’s session brings new opportunities and challenges. This will only be the second time in Virginia’s history that Republicans have had the majority in both the House of Delegates and State Senate along with a Republican Governor. Our main focus this year will be to continue to help businesses create new jobs and keep the economic recovery moving in the right direction. We will also be looking at ways to reform our state government to make it work more efficiently and effectively for all Virginians. I am looking forward to working with my fellow delegates, state senators, and Bob McDonnell on these issues in my role as House Majority Leader.
