Pursuant to Section 7.1-41 of the Code of Virginia only current and former members of the Senate of Virginia shall have the authority to utilize armorial bearings of the Senate of Virginia or any facsimile or representations thereof . Such use shall not be for commercial purposes. Any person violating provisions of this section shall be punished for a Class 3 or Class 4 misdemeanor.
